Graphic design
Graphic design that supports the site
XCom produces the visuals a business site actually needs: logo polish, section layouts, and assets sized correctly for where they will appear. Design here stays tied to clarity and conversion rather than decoration for its own sake.
Typical scope
This is design in service of a working website, not a standalone brand engagement.
- Logo refinement and simple brand marks
- Page and section layout for marketing sites
- Social and Open Graph images sized for each real platform
- Icons, diagrams, and simple illustrations for service pages
- Cleanup and correct export of existing brand assets
Working with an existing brand
Most clients already have a logo and some colors. Usually the problem is not the brand, it is the files: a logo that only exists as a low-resolution JPEG with a white box behind it, or colors nobody wrote down.
We rebuild those assets properly, in the formats and sizes the site needs, so the brand looks intentional at every size instead of slightly wrong everywhere. That includes transparent versions that work on both light and dark backgrounds.
Design that does not slow the site down
Images are the most common cause of a slow page. Every asset we produce is exported at the dimensions it will actually display, in a modern format, with the layout space reserved so the page does not jump while it loads.
A beautiful hero image that costs you three seconds of load time is a net loss, and we treat it that way.
What this is not
This is not a full brand identity program with positioning workshops and a hundred-page guideline document. If that is what you need, we will say so and you should hire a branding studio.
Common questions
- Can you work from our existing logo?
- Yes. In most cases we rebuild it into clean, properly sized, transparent files rather than redesigning it, so it stays recognizable but stops looking slightly wrong at different sizes.
- Do you provide source files?
- Yes. You own what we produce and receive the editable source files along with the exports.
